Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Fest – Chicago, IL

Fall fest at Lincoln Park Zoo is country fun without leaving the city!  This new fall festival features a variety of family fun activities across the main zoo grounds and at the Farm in the Zoo.

Attractions:  Corn Maze, Hay Mountain, Buy Pumpkins at Pumpkin Patch, Hay Ride, Ferris Wheel, Pumpkin Bounce House, Fun Slide, Pumpkin Carvers, Strolling Entertainers, Animal Chats and Learning Stations, Edible Garden, Sing Along By Neeleo, Educational Carts, Face Painting, Lionel Train Adventure, Inflatable Obstacle Course and Endangered Species Carousel.

Lincoln Square Apple Fest – Chicago, IL

Ring in Fall with Lincoln Square’s 28th annual Apple Fest!  This long standing tradition in the Lincoln Square community brings dozens of vendors selling everything from candy apples to pumpkins to scarves.  Stop by and get your apple fix by picking up some delicious apple pie, bushel of apples, hot apple cider or even an apple cider donut.

Attractions:  Vendors selling all things apples, purchase pumpkins, purchase gifts.  Kid Zone features children’s activities throughout the day.  Local musicians.

Oktober Pumpkin Fest – Bridgeview, IL

Come join the fun for a full weekend of pumpkin fun, delicious food and live music!  This four day event will feature a number of fun and exciting attractions.  There will be food selection from around the world, including ribs and burgers, pumpkin pies and taffy apples.  In addition, the festival will also have apple cider and a vast selection of craft beer!

  Pumpkins, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Face and Pumpkin Painting, Costume Contest and Reptile Exhibit by Coal Black Exotics.

Long Grove Apple Festival – Long Grove, IL

Long Grove’s Apple Fest is bushels of fun for the whole family!  Everything apple you will find at the festival from apple pies, apple cider donuts, hot apple cider to caramel apple lattes.  In addition to loads of delicious apple treats, find other delicious festival foods, musical entertainment as well as kid’s entertainment.

Attractions:  Apple treats, pony rides, carnival rides, shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants serving up their delicious foods, Kid Zone activities such as potato sack races, football toss, tug of war, limbo competition, 3 legged race, pie eating contest and more!

Scarecrow Fest – St. Charles, IL

For over 25 years, thousands of visitors have flocked to the annual St. Charles Scarecrow Fest.  This award winning festival has created memories for both adults and children over the years.  The heart of the festival is the scarecrow contest, which boast over 100 hand crafted scarecrows.  Make it a weekend visit if you are from out of town as St. Charles boasts 11 hotels to relax at.  Visitors enjoy striking architecture and excellent dining, along with antique and boutique shopping. Outdoor recreation is plentiful, with Paddlewheel Riverboat cruises, beautiful hiking and biking trails, and scenic riverside parks.

  The festival is filled with delicious festival foods, live entertainment, arts and crafts show and kid’s activities.  Carnival, petting zoo, balloon artist, coloring tent, stilt walker, magician and make your own scarecrow to take home.
